Junior Ally Blood of the women's lacrosse team has been named April Intercon Female Student-Athlete of the Month.

Blood earns the honor after leading the Royals with 18 goals and 20 assists for 38 points during the month. She recorded eight points in the Royals' win over Newberry and seven points against both Mars hill and Lenoir-Rhyne. Blood also recorded her 100th career point during the month. At the end of the regular season, Blood was named SAC Player of the Year. Queens also won its fifth SAC Regular Season title and sixth consecutive SAC Championship title in April.
