Freshman Polina Lapshina led No. 1 Queens to the program's fifth straight Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship in February to earn InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.

The Ekaterinburg, Russia earned four individual conference titles and was a member of three championship relay teams. Lapshina helped the 400-Yard Medley Relay team to an NCAA Division II record and was a part of six different meet records in being named the 2019 BMC Female Swimmer of the Meet.
