Mazvita Mtisi has been named September Female InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.

Mtisi, a senior midfielder, totaled five goals and one assist during the month for 11 points as the Royals got off to their best start in program history. Highlighting the month for Mtisi was her three-goal performance against Bellarmine. She also netted the game-winner in the victory. As a team, Queens went undefeated in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas play at 3-0 in September and lost just one game to sit 5-1 overall.
