Alberto Morales has been named September Male InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.
Morales, a senior forward, scored four goals and recorded one assist after tallying one goal in four consecutive wins for Queens. Three of his goals were game-winners and in the 8-2 win over Catawba Morales notched one goal and one assist. As a team, the Royals were 6-1-1 in September.
“Alberto has made a tremendous impact on our team on and off the field this year,” said Oliver Carias, Queens Head Men’s Soccer Coach. “He has been a great leader and captain for our team. He has showed great character in difficult times and he is always willing to work hard for his teammates, friends, and our school.”
