Pfeiffer helped the women's side capture the national championship earning a gold medal in two events. She was also named all-American in five events, and received an honorable mention nod in one event. Peiffer recorded a national record time of 1:54.48 in the 200 backstroke. She also recorded a 54 second flat lead-off time with the gold medal winning 400 medley relay team.
