Jared Hendryx earns the InterCon Male Student-Athlete of the Month Award after helped the Royals close the semester undefeated and ranked third in the nation. 

Hendryx helped the Royals go 5-0 during the month as the entered the New Year undefeated and ranked No. 3 in the nation. The senior center, playing a key role for the Royals off the bench, stepped into the starting lineup following an injury to the team’s leading scorer, Daniel Camps. His presence in the paint helped the Royals not skip a beat as they continued their dominance over opponents. For the month Hendryx averaged nine points and 6.2 rebounds. Her also totaled 12 blocks after notching a season-high six in Queens’ win over Mars Hill to close the semester.
