Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Senior attacker Matthew Michael was named InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month following a great month of competition in April.

Michael scored nine goals and totaled 13 assists to record 22 points in the month of April. Every point the attacker scored was in South Atlantic Conference play except for the three assists logged in Queens' win over nationally-ranked Pfeiffer University.  His most notable point came in the SAC Tournament Championship game where he scored the game-winner with 1:52 to play. The win helped Queens earn their first conference tournament championship after earning their first regular season title. It also helped the Royals receive their first ever bid to the NCAA Tournament.
