Junior runner Felix Duchampt has been voted InterCon Male Student-Athlete of the Month for January after qualifying for the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships after competing at the Hilton Garden Invitational.

The runner was invited to take part in the 3k part of the Camel City Elite Races at JDL Fast-Track where he took fifth place overall in 8:11.26. Duchampt was the lone Division II participant in the race and his efforts were good enough to qualify him for the NCAA Championships. His pace is currently ranked third in the nation.
