Kyle Johns joined the Queens Athletics sports medicine staff in the spring of 2021 after most recently working at Greensboro College.
While with the Pride, Johns was the primarily worked with the men’s basketball, men’s soccer, and softball teams. She designed and implemented preventative warmups which reduced the incidence of soft tissue injuries, and collaborated with team physicians on injury referral, rehab, and return to play. Additionally, she created the athletic department’s COVID-19 policy and procedures for the 2020-21 season.
Johns received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the College of William & Mary in 2017 before earning her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Lynchburg in 2019. While at Lynchburg, she received the Jacqueline Asbury Award which is given for excellence in athletic training.
