DD Rogers joined the women's basketball staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2021-22 season. Rogers joined the Royals after spending the 2020-21 season at University of North Carolina Greensboro as a graduate assistant.

Rogers, a Queen City native, played for four years at Myers Park High School graduating in 2015. During her time at with the Mustangs, Rogers won back-to-back state championships in 2014 and 2015 helping Myers Park earn the title of the first Mecklenburg County 4A girls' team to repeat as state champions.

Following her high school senior season, Rogers was named McDonald's High School All-American nominee and committed to North Carolina State as the program's highest-ranked recruit in the 2015 class.

While with the Wolfpack, Rogers played under Coach Wes Moore from 2015-2019. During her senior season, she helped NC State make school history as the last undefeated team left in the nation. Rogers was also one of the nation's leading rebounders and received All-ACC Academic Honors.

Rogers has an undergraduate degree from NC State in communication with a media concentration and she completed a graduate certificate program in sport and entertainment venue management.
