Grace Cullen joined Queens University of Charlotte as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach in March of 2024. Cullen is responsible for the Baseball, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, and Men’s Tennis programs.
Previously, Cullen worked for the St. Louis Cardinals as a Player Development Strength and Conditioning Coach for two years. Cullen was responsible for day-to-day operations with the FCL rookie ball team and assisted with player rehabilitation. She worked hand-in-hand with the sports science department to mentor athlete's workload while also assisting with MLB players.
Before working with St. Louis, Cullen interned as a strength and conditioning coach with the Cleveland Guardians. Cullen was based out of the complex in Goodyear, Arizona where she was exposed to numerous levels of professional baseball players. She worked mainly with the ACL Rookie Ball team but also assisted with the rehabilitation of Major League players and instructional camps. Cullen monitored athletes' workloads utilizing various technologies including but not limited to Catapult GPS, VALD force plates, and self-check-ins.
While interning with the Cleveland Guardians and throughout her first year with the St. Louis Cardinals, Cullen earned her Master's degree in Applied Kinesiology & Physiology from the University of Florida. She has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a Minor in Sport Psychology from the University of Evansville where she competed as a Division 1 swimmer. Cullen also holds NSCA, FMS 1&2, and SFMA certifications.
