Dan Larkin enters his second season under Bart Lundy as an assistant coach for the Royals.
Larkin comes to Queens from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he served as a student assistant under former Seahawk's head coach, Buzz Peterson. While at UNCW, Larkin was responsible for video, directing the student managing staff, film exchange, and assisting with player development and scouting. During his time in Wilmington, Larkin had the opportunity to serve under several former and current Division I head coaches including Eddie Biedenbach (University of North Carolina at Asheville), Houston Fancher (Appalachian State), and Matt McMahon (Murray State).
In his first coaching stop of his career, Larkin will oversee recruiting, video, equipment, and the student managing staff while aiding in scouting for the Royals.
Before his time at UNCW, Larkin played for former Queens Royal Mike King at local Charlotte Catholic High School.
In addition, Larkin graduated from UNCW with a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management. Larkin is currently pursuing his master's degree at Queens' Knight School of Communication.
