Caputi joins the Royals after spending seven years as a head coach at the high school and AAU levels.
He spent four seasons at Kennedy Catholic and three at Yorktown High School. Caputi also served as the head coach for the House of Sports Gauchos in 2013, Playmake Academy in 2012 and Westchester Warriors from 2007-2011.
The new addition to the Royals coaching staff most recently worked for the House of Sports aiding in the orgainzation of AAU tournaments as site supervisor. He has also been working as a private basketball trainer since 2006.
Caputi earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Mercy College in May 2012.
