Carlos Dixon

Dixon enters his first season under Queens Head Coach Bart Lundy as an assistant coach for the Royals.
 
Dixon brings a ton of on court experience to the staff. A native of Salisbury, N.C., Dixon attended high school at South Rowan High School in China Grove, N.C. After high school, Dixon played his college basketball at Virginia Tech, where he was named team captain and the team's most valuable player his junior and senior years. He currently ranks 22nd all-time in points at Virginia Tech with 1,348 points after averaging 11-plus points per game each of his four season. He also ranks 10th in steals with 183. During his senoir year as a Hokie, Dixon helped lead the team to the second round of the NIT.

After college, Dixon played professionally internationally for 11 years in seven different countries. He had stops in China, France, Korea, Argentina, Japan, Bahrain, and the Dominican Republic. His team in Korea took the league championship, while Dixon was a two-time all-league honorable mention selection in Japan.

Dixon earned a bachelor's degree in housing, interior design, and resource management from Virginia Tech.
