Cole Gillman-Goss enters his first season with the Royals after spending one season at Wingate University as a graduate assistant. While with the Bulldogs, he served as an athletic trainer for the Wingate football team while also serving as the primary athletic trainer for both the men's and women's tennis teams.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Gillman-Goss gained clinical experience at Kansas State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training while working with the football, men's basketball, and women's tennis teams. During his time at Kansas State University, Gillman-Goss also worked as a summer athletic training intern with the Kansas City Chiefs.
