JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Queens University of Charlotte women's swimmer Maddie Foster has been named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced Monday, following an impressive two-meet weekend highlighted by a personal-best performance, two CSCAA B cuts and multiple event victories.
Foster opened the weekend against North Carolina, winning the 200 freestyle in a personal-best time of 1:48.06. The performance earned Foster a CSCAA B cut in the event.
She added another B-cut performance in the 100 butterfly, finishing second in 54.17. Foster also helped the Royals claim the 200 freestyle relay, contributing a 22.76 anchor split, while recording a 23.70 butterfly split in the 200 medley relay.
Foster continued her strong weekend against Davidson, winning the 100 butterfly in 56.29. She also contributed to two more relay victories, recording a 51.67 split in the 400 freestyle relay and a 24.75 butterfly split in the 200 medley relay.
Across the two meets, Foster collected two individual victories, two additional runner-up finishes and four relay contributions while posting two CSCAA B-cut times.
