JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Queens University women's tennis team (1-10, 0-1 ASUN) couldn't find their rhythm against North Florida (6-5, 2-0 ASUN) on Friday morning, falling 7-0 at the UNF Tennis Complex in their conference opener.
HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
- North Florida claimed victories on courts one and three. The duo of
Lucy Hogan and
Andreea Onitoiu fell 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, while an incomplete lineup forced Queens to forfeit at No. 3 doubles.
- The No. 2 doubles match was left unfinished with
Zoe Cvitanovic and
Jett Coetzee trailing 5-1.
SINGLES
- In singles play, North Florida controlled the action, securing wins in all six matchups.

Lucy Hogan put up a fight at No. 1 singles but ultimately fell in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, to Laurie Barendse.

Zoe Cvitanovic (No. 2), Onitoiu (No. 3),
Jett Coetzee (No. 4), and
Audrey Serb (No. 5) each lost in straight sets.
NEXT UP
With their ASUN opener behind them, the Royals will now have a week off before continuing their five-match conference road stretch, resuming play against Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, March 14.
