FORT MYERS, FLA. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team continued ASUN play on the road Friday afternoon, falling 7-0 to a strong Florida Gulf Coast squad at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Royals struggled to find momentum in doubles play, dropping matches at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.

Andreea Onitoiu and
Lucy Hogan teamed up at No. 1 doubles but fell 6-1 to Florida Gulf Coast's top pair of Isabella Colmenares and Ashley Matz.
- In singles competition, Queens was met with stiff competition across all courts.

Lucy Hogan picked up a pair of games in the second set at the No. 1 position but fell 6-0, 6-2 to Matz.

Zoe Cvitanovic battled in a competitive first set at No. 2 but ultimately dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision.

Jett Coetzee had the closest singles match for the Royals, falling 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot.
