THE SHORT STORY:

Charlotte, N.C. – The Queens University women's tennis team battled against Davidson at the Howard Levine Tennis Center but fell short in a 5-1 loss.

- Sophomore Lucy Hogan provided the highlight of the day for the Royals, securing the lone victory in singles play with a hard-fought 7-5, 7-5 win over Kavya Patel at the No. 1 position.
- Queens faced challenges across the rest of the singles lineup. Zoe Cvitanovic, Andreea Onitoiu, and Audrey Serb all dropped their matches in straight sets, while the No. 5 singles spot was forfeited.

- The No. 2 pairing of Cvitanovic and Serb struggled to gain momentum, suffering a 6-1 defeat.
- Queens was also forced to forfeit the No. 3 doubles match, giving Davidson the advantage.
