After taking a five-point lead into the halftime break, the Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team was plagued by turnovers in the second half committing 11 miscues allowing Eastern Kentucky to storm from behind in overtime and extend their winning streak to seven straight games. Jaxon Pollard notched his second double-double of the season with a career-high 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Jaxon Pollard turned in a dominant performance off the bench with 16 points and 11 boards. The Cedar Hills, Utah native was relentless on the offensive glass pulling down five boards in his first game back from injury.

Leo Colimerio paced the Queens offense with 20 points while adding nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals across 39 minutes of action.
-Sharpshooter
Chris Ashby added 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists over 36 minutes of work.
-Center
Malcolm Wilson turned in a solid night with seven points, 10 rebounds, including six offensive boards, and three blocks.
-Coming off the bench,
Nasir Mann posted another great afternoon with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting while adding two boards.
-In a battle between two of the league's top rebounding squads, the Royals dominated the glass outrebounding the Colonels 45-29, including a 19-11 margin on the offensive glass.
-Turnovers proved to be the difference as 18 miscues from the Royals were turned into 16 points by EKU.
-One of the nation's top perimeter shooting squads, Eastern Kentucky cashed in 13 shots from the perimeter.
NOTABLE MOMENTS
-Queens took advantage of the Colonels on the road early ripping off a 7-0 run capped off by a
Kalib Mathews three-pointer to grab a 9-4 lead heading into the first media timeout. The Royals defense buckled down and held the Colonels scoreless from the field during that span.
-Coming out of the media timeout, the Colonels got a bucket, but the Royals responded with another 7-0 run capped off by a
Chris Ashby three-pointer to force Eastern Kentucky into a timeout as the lead grew to 12.
-Eastern Kentucky would settle in late in the first half closing the first 20 minutes connecting on four straight field goals. The Colonels buried three first-half three-pointers to head into the break down 47-42.
-Queens came out of the halftime break on a 7-1 run as
Bryce Cash bullied his way to a layup and grew the lead to 11. The Colonels would answer with a turnaround jumper, but Queens answered with five straight points to increase their lead to 14.
-Trailing 68-57 with 7:22 to go, Queens suffered a scoring drought while the Colonels countered with a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to four heading into the final media break.
-Eastern Kentucky closed the second half on a 15-4 run capitalizing on multiple turnovers by the Royals. The Colonels got the last look and Devontae Blanton took a mid-range jumper, but it rimmed out to send the game into overtime.
-In overtime, the Colonels maintained their momentum outscoring Queens 14-8 to keep their winning streak alive.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
-Queens led by as much as 14 in the second half and suffered their first loss of the season when leading by that mark.
-The Royals took a lead into the final five minutes, but surrendered it in overtime and fell to 16-1 this season when leading at that mark.
-The 20-point effort from
Leo Colimerio moved the graduate student to 976 career points as he closes on the 1,000 mark.
-Eastern Kentucky improved to 3-1 in the all-time series with the victory, and 2-0 in Richmond against the Royals.
