Queens put together a competitive first half against Central Arkansas but was unable to maintain its momentum down the stretch, falling 68-50 on Saturday afternoon at the Farris Center. The Royals dropped to 7-14 overall and 1-9 in conference play, while Central Arkansas improved to 15-6 on the season and 9-1 in league action.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
Queens opened the game with confidence, shooting 43.8 percent from the field in the first quarter while matching Central Arkansas point-for-point in a 17-17 opening frame. The Royals continued to battle in the second period, even building a seven-point lead at one point. However, a slowdown on offense gave the Bears an opportunity to even the score, sending both teams into halftime tied at 25.
Despite a solid start, Queens saw the game shift in the second half. Central Arkansas surged ahead in the third quarter, outscoring the Royals 21-10. Central Arkansas continued to apply pressure in the fourth quarter, pulling away behind a 22-point frame to secure the win.
