CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Queens swimming program continued its dominant showing on Saturday night at the 2025 Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy, piling up podium finishes and delivering two meet records in a session that pushed both the women's and men's teams further ahead heading into the final day. Through night three, the Queens women lead with 956 points, while the men hold first with 1,243.
The evening opened with a strong run of individual performances, beginning with Maddie Foster, who produced a season-best 52.68 to finish second in the women's 100 butterfly. Foster carried that momentum into the later session, where she added another podium finish by placing third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.52. One of the most dominant swims of the night came from Abigail Zboran, who controlled the women's 400 individual medley from the first lap and powered away to win in 4:14.72.
The men's team delivered its own statement moments midway through the night, highlighted by Daniel Meszaros, who shattered the Fall Frenzy meet record in the 200 freestyle with a blistering 1:34.40. The Royals kept rolling in the 100 breaststroke, where Callen Bartone won the event in 52.84, adding another first-place finish to Queens' total. The men closed their individual racing with Emil Harlem, who charged to a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly in one of the session's fastest heats, touching in 46.75.
As the night progressed into its relay events, Queens capped the session with a historic performance in the Women's 200 Medley Relay, posting the second meet record of the evening. The team of Abigail Zboran, Libby Livesay, Maddie Foster, and Maren Patterson combined for a winning time of 1:39.16, breaking a record that had stood since 2018 and delivering one of the standout relay swims of the meet.
Following the finals session, Queens Director of Swimming Jeff Dugdale praised the team's unity and execution, saying, "We had an amazing evening as a team. As a coach, when you see the team pour themselves into each other and get the results that were achieved, it is so rewarding and I could not be prouder."
