CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (3-12) traveled to take on Georgetown University (5-11), falling 3-1 to the Hoyas.
INSIDE THE MATCH
Today's match didn't see a goal scored until late in the third when The Hoyas' Sydney Yodh put one in the cage with seconds left in the period. Georgetown's Elizabeth Rossotti then scored again early in the fourth quarter to increase Georgetown's lead to 2-0.
Grace Wagner responded for Queens with the first goal of her collegiate career in the 48
th minute of the match, cutting the margin to one, 2-1. However, Georgetown scored once more in the 54
th while holding the Royals scoreless for the remaining minutes of the match to take the win.

- Hensley Miller recorded her fifth assist of the season on Grace Wagner's goal. She now has nine points this season.
- Madison Destefano completed play in goal with nine saves.
- Queens was outshot 21-2 as the Hoyas put 12 shots on goal.
