CHARLOTTE. N.C. – Braving the harsh weather conditions from the oncoming Hurricane Helene, the Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team picked up a quality 0-0 draw against the visiting Jacksonville Dolphins on Thursday afternoon. The Royals backline gave a strong performance to pick up the fifth clean sheet of the season.

Despite both offenses being held scoreless, the Queens backline shined with a shutout. Jacksonville managed to keep possession in their attacking quarter for 22 percent of the match and tried to capitalize with 20 shots. However, strong defensive play from Queens only allowed eight shots to land on the frame.

Making her 11th start in goal this season, junior Kelsey Jargstorf recorded her fifth clean sheet of the season. The Meridian, Idaho native faced 20 shots and picked up eight saves. Jargstorf is now tied for the league lead in shutouts.
