CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-7) hosted Saint Francis University this afternoon at Bessant Field, falling 3-0 to the Red Flash.

INSIDE THE MATCH
The Red Flash attacked early in today's match scoring a goal within the first two minutes of action. Another goal would follow in the seventh before the Royals settled on defense. Queens then limited Saint Francis to just one shot in the second quarter to hold the score at 2-0 at the halftime break.
Queen would see a few strong chances to score in the third quarter, coming up unlucky on both attempts as the ball went wide of the cage.
The Red Flash scored their final goal of the game capitalizing on a penalty corner.

- Queens' Sydney Smith led the Royals with two shots on goal. Kennedy Bratton also recorded a shot on goal.
