FARMVILLE, Va. –  The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-5) traveled to Longwood University (2-1) this evening, falling 3-1 to the Lancers.

INSIDE THE MATCH
After the Lancers scored an early goal in today's game that put them in front 1-0 until the halftime break, Queens' Kennedy Bratton would find the back of the net less than five minutes into the third quarter to knot the game at 1-1. However, Longwood had an answer late in the quarter to retake control of the game, and an insurance goal in the 48^th would help them secure the win.   
 
KEY STATS & NOTES

• This is the second straight game where Kennedy Bratton has found the back of the cage for Queens.
• Cassie McKenzie notched the first assist of her career.
• Madison Destefano recorded six saves for Queens.
• Luna Prieri of Longwood led all on the field with six shots on goal.
