ELON, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team now sits knotted at 2-2 on the year after falling 1-0 to Elon University on the road this evening.

Turning Point
Despite the Phoenix outshooting the Royals 7-1 in the opening half, four saves by Queens' Kelsey Jargstorf would keep Elon off the board.
 
In the second, the Royals put a pair of shots on goal before Elon's Isa Murdock fired a shot into the upper right corner of the net in the 70^th minute of action to put the Phoenix in front where they remained until the end of play.     

Key Stats & Notes

• Sophia Muetterties led the Royals with two shots, recording one shot on goal. Maddy Leone recorded the Royals' other shot on goal this evening.
• Queens' Kelsey Jargstorf completed her time in goal with seven saves.
• Elong goalkeeper Katie Bisgrove recorded two saves and notched a clean sheet on the night.
• Isa Murdock of the Phoenix recorded the game-winner, leading Elon's offense with six shots on goal.
