Queens Edged in Overtime at Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team (2-9, 1-6) was edged in overtime by Robert Morris (3-8, 2-4) by a score of 14-13 this afternoon.

HEAD COACH NIK COLPITTS' QUOTE
"I am incredibly proud of the level of effort and the execution that our players showed today despite the final result. To score with one second left to force overtime is just one play but I think it is a perfect encapsulation of who this group is. The resiliency they show consistently makes me excited about what is to come for our program. We speak a lot about growing opportunities and having belief in what we are building and today was a huge step in the right direction. Offensively, we had our best outing of the year and a lot of that started with Brendan Nace who continues to improve every single time he steps on the field. Credit to Robert Morris as well, they are a very good team. Now it's time to shift our focus towards Mercer next Saturday as we honor our seniors and alumni for what should be a great atmosphere at Dickson Field."
