THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte Men's tennis win 4-3 over the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Despite Arenui Luethi and Connor Enslin winning No.2 doubles with a 6-3 mark, The Dukes were able to win the doubles point to start the match winning at Lines 1 and 3.
-Ram Mude extended his winning streak to 5 singles wins. The match was won convincingly, winning 6-1 in both sets. Mude is currently 5-0 in No. 5 singles.
-Win Steveker added to a streak of his own with his third consecutive singles match win in the No. 2 spot. The match won the first set 6-1 and had a battle in the second set winning 7-6 (2).
-Connor Enslin won at Line 4 with 6-1 and 6-4 marks on the day.
-Filippo Verdese blanked his competition winning at Line 6 with 6-0 marks in both sets.
NEXT UP
The Royals are back in action at home on Friday, March 8th against Methodist University. The match is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
