THE SHORT STORY
Fresno State transfer Leo Colimerio put together his best performance of the young season in his seventh start as a Royal. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native poured in a season-high 20 points on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting from the field. The Buccaneers controlled the glass 44-34, including 17 offensive rebounds which were converted into 17 second-chance points.

BY THE NUMBERS
-Graduate student Leo Colimerio led the Royals with 20 points while adding five rebounds. Colimerio found his stroke in the second half netting 12 points over the final 20 minutes.
-Chris Ashby followed up a 23-point outing on Saturday night with a 15-point effort. The sharpshooter buried five shots from downtown and added two boards and two assists. Ashby has now drained three or more shots from downtown in 36 outings.
-Nasir Mann, Jaxon Pollard, and Yoav Berman paced the scoring off the bench combining for 15 points. The trio brought down 11 rebounds, including five from Pollard.
-After being held to a 1-for-10 clip from deep in the first half, the Buccaneers found their shot going 6-of-12 from deep in the second half.
-Quimari Peterson led all scorers with a game-high 22 points for the Bucs. Forward Jaden Seymour turned in a 13 point and 11 rebound double-double.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
-Trailing 8-4 early in the first half, the Royals sparked a run connecting on six straight shots from the field while holding the Buccaneers to a 3:41-minute scoring drought. Queens' ability to capitalize allowed the Royals to extend their lead to 19-13 heading into the second media break.
-The first half was a back-and-forth affair as the offenses exchanged buckets resulting in five ties and 12 lead changes. Both teams combined to turn the ball over 15 times in the first half which the Royals capitalized on with seven points.
-ETSU jolted out of the second half with a 9-2 surge which turned into a 19-6 run and forced Queens into their second timeout of the half. The run extended the Buccaneers lead to the largest of the game at 16.
 
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
-Chris Ashby moved into seventh all-time in three-pointers made in program history.
-Queens fell to 2-2 all-time against SoCon members as the Buccaneers evened the all-time series.
-After losing the battle on the glass, Queens fell to 8-26 in Division 1 when they get outrebounded.

NEXT UP
Queens will have the upcoming week off for the holidays before returning to action on Tuesday, December 3rd inside Curry Arena against Winthrop.
