CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (2-13) closed the 2024 season this evening at App State (10-7), galling 5-0 to the Mountaineers.

Queens held the Mountaineers scoreless in the opening quarter of action due largely to
Madison Destefano's play inside the cage. However, App State would put to goals on the board in the second to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, App State's offense took 19 shots en route to adding three more goals to its point total, giving the match its final score.
