WAKE FOREST, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte triathlon team won its third straight NCAA DI East Regional Qualifier this afternoon. Queens had four triathletes who finished in the top 10 to claim victory.

"Very proud of our team's victory at the East Regional Championship today. This was our third consecutive win at the ERQ as a D1 program.
 
Despite Beth and Cara's pack, the day began with a little bit of a rough swim from our three through seven. They made up steady ground on the bike and we finished super strong on the run to win the day.
 
Very happy with the way this group supports one another and competes together as a team each and every time out on the racecourse.
 
Today will position us nicely for the DI National Championships on November 9.
 
UP NEXT
The Royals are back in action on Nov. 9 competing for their first DI National Championship title. Queens won six national titles at the DII level.
