The Short Story: The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team drops a road battle 57-82 at Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday night. 

BY THE NUMBERS

• Tiziana Huici made a difference early in the game off the bench for the Royals and proved to be the most efficient offensive threat for Queens. 
• Huici led the team for the first time this season with 17 points. 
• Jordyn Weaver had a solid performance shooting 100 percent from the free throw line along with netting six points and grabbing six rebounds. 

NOTABLE MOMENTS

• The Royals went on a 6-0 run to end the first quarter which cut the early 10-point lead to 4 points. 
• The third quarter was the biggest quarter for the Eagles. FGCU went on a 15-0 run and marked their largest lead of 31 points. 

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• The Royals continued struggles from beyond the arc shooting 3-15 on the day.
• Queens' bench performed well with 31 of their 57 points coming from those players. 
• The Eagles set a season high in free throws made and attempted, ending the game 25-37 from the line.
