Turning Point
After holding the Dragons to just one goal in the first quarter, Queens found themselves trailing 6-0 at the half following a 5-0 run in the second quarter. Queens was then held scoreless in the second half as Drexel added two more points to the board controlling the game offensively throughout.
Key Stats & Notes
- Sofia Arato led the Royals with two shots this afternoon.
- In goal for Queens, Grace Meinke tallied 14 saves for a new career high in just 30 minutes of action. Manisha Desai totaled 10 saves in 30 minutes for a new career high as well.
- Pili Lemoine totaled three goals for Drexel while Natalie Foster tallied three goals and two assists.
- In goal, Megan Hadfield totaled two saves for the win.
- Queens was outshot 42-6 as the Dragons put 32 shots on goal compared to the Royals' two shots on goal.
- Drexel earned 18 penalty corners to Queens' five. The five earned by Queens was the most the season for the Royals.
