Royals Drop Tuesday Tilt against UNCW Following Rebound Goal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team dropped a Tuesday night tilt with the UNCW Seahawks at Dickson Field by a final score of 1-0. The Seahawks victory evened the all-time series record after the Royals took the opener 2-0 in Wilmington last season.

Turning Point
Following a scoreless first half, the visiting Seahawks struck first early in the second stanza. Ethan Newsome got a great look on target from the left of the box, but the Royals keeper Javier Izquierdo-Cuervo made a diving save to the bottom left corner.
