DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-3) was able to put their first point on the board this season as they fell 7-1 at Davidson (2-1) this evening.

Turning Point
Leading 3-0 out of the halftime break, Davidson scored three additional unanswered goals in the third period to solidify their win over the Royals tonight.    
 
Key Stats & Notes

• Riley Iasiello scored her first collegiate goal this evening. Her goal was also the first of the season for Queens.
• Sofia Arato and Enya Kemp also tallied shots for Queens.
• In goal, Grace Meinke finished with nine saves in 45 minutes. Manisha Desai saw action for the first time this season, tallying one save.
• Cato Roell earned the win in goal for Davidson.
• Abby Pompeo led the Wildcats with two goals.
• Queens was outshot 25-3 as the Wildcats put 17 shots on goal to the Royals' one shot on goal.
• Davidson earned 14 penalty corners to Queens' one.
