THE SHORT STORY:Â The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped a Friday morning match at Bellarmine by a final score of 4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals opened the morning by capturing the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
Jill Morse and
Amelie Allard picked up their second straight victory with a 6-3 win at No. 2.
Kelsey Sinclaire and
Nyanyuie Grace Tomegah clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 route at No. 3.
-The Knights captured the victory with singles victories at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, and No. 5.
-At No. 4, sophomore
Amelie Allard was ahead 7-6, 3-6, 3-0 before going unfinished.
NEXT UP
Queens will hit the road next weekend to the sunshine state for their final two regular season matches of the year. The Royals will face Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday, April 6
th before taking on Stetson on Saturday, April 8
th.
