-Queens would answer in the top half of the second inning with a pair of home runs. Nick Brassington would strike first with a lead-off home run to left center to cut the deficit in half. Rookie JD Coleman would step in two batters later and smoke his first collegiate home run to right field to tie the game.

-Central Arkansas would erupt in the bottom of the fourth inning with 10 runs on 10 hits and one Royals error. The scoring outburst was the most in a single season by a Royals opponent as they plated seven runs with two outs.

-The Bears extended their lead to 15-2 as they scored three runs on one hit and five free passes.

-The Bears ripped 16 hits on the night, including six extra-base hits. The total was the most hits surrendered since the ASUN opener at Jacksonville State on March 17th.
