THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team used five strong singles performances to defeat the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in match one of the afternoon.

-The Crusaders secured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3.
Edoardo Cecere and
Win Steveker notched their fifth straight victory with a 6-3 victory at No. 2. The duo improved to 9-1 at a pair in doubles action.

Edoardo Cecere cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the top court.

Win Steveker dominated at No. 2 with a 6-4, 6-1 victory.

Laurenz Blickwede controlled the third court with a 6-2, 6-0 win.

Lukas Gosselin earned a hard-fought victory at No. 5 by a score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Filippo Ercole took the final two sets 6-3, 6-2.

THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team closed out the afternoon with a convincing 5-1 victory in game two over the visiting Crusaders.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Queens secured the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
Laurenz Blickwede and
Samuele Pia took the second court 6-4 while
Lukas Gosselin and
Arthur Bazil took the third court 6-2.

Win Steveker improved to 8-7 this season with a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 1.

Euan Lynes improved to 2-0 this year with a 6-1, 6-0 victory from No. 4.

Queens will return to the court on Friday, March 24
th when they welcome Jacksonville State University at 2:00 p.m. for their final home weekend series. The match will be played at the Howard Levine Tennis Center at the Queens Sports Complex. Admission is free to the public.
