THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team used a dominant performance to claim their first ASUN victory of the season against Austin Peay on Friday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals secured the doubles point with hard earned victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
Edoardo Cecere and
Win Steveker improved to 7-1 together with a 7-6 (7-2) victory at No. 2.
Lukas Gosselin and
Arthur Bazil would improve to 2-3 as a pair with a 6-4 victory.

Edoardo Cecere dominated from the top court with a 6-0, 6-2 win.

Win Steveker won his second straight match with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 route at No. 2.
-Sophomore
Laurenz Blickwede defeated Tom Bolton at No. 3 7-6(5-0), 6-0. The win increased Blickwede's streak to six straight.

Samuele Pia took down Bodi Van Galen at No. 5 7-6(5-0), 6-1.

Lukas Gosselin rounded out the sensational singles performances with a dominant 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

Queens will return to the court on Sunday, March 19
th when they welcome Kennesaw State University at 2:00 p.m. The match will be played at the Howard Levine Tennis Center at the Queens Sports Complex. Admission is free to the public.
