THE SHORT STORY: After claiming the doubles point for the early advantage, the Royals picked up a pair of singles victories before the Runnin' Bulldogs completed the comeback.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Queens claimed their first doubles point of the season with victories on No. 1 and No. 2.
Edoardo Bottino and
Laurenz Blickwede picked up their second straight victory together at No. 1 with a 6-3 triumph.
Win Steveker and
Edoardo Cecere clinched the point for the Royals with a 7-6(7-3) win at No. 2.
-Gardner-Webb would get back on track with three straight singles victories to grab a 3-1 advantage.

Laurenz Blickwede cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 4 to cut the deficit. The win was the second this season from the No. 4 slot.
-Sophomore
Win Steveker would even the score with a 6-4, 6-3 win on No. 3 for his second victory of the season.
-The match would be decided in the final set on the second court. After
Edoardo Cecere took the opening set 6-4, the Runnin' Bulldogs managed to steal the final two frames and clinch the win.
NEXT UP
Queens will return to the courts next Sunday, February 12
th when they travel to No. 9 Wake Forest. The match will begin at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be the second this season after the nationally ranked Demon Deacons took down the Royals 5-2.
