The Short Story: Facing the top-seeded Kennesaw State Owls in the ASUN Tournament Quarterfinals, the Queens Men's Basketball team saw their season end despite a resilient effort.
BY THE NUMBERS

Kenny Dye reached double figures for the 30
th game this season with a 13-point performance. The senior also added three rebounds and three assists.

Jay'Den Turner finished the evening with 10 points and nine rebounds, including three offensive boards.

BJ McLaurin turned in 13 points and seven rebounds. The Fayetteville native has dropped double figures in 17 games this season.
-Sophomore
Kalib Mathews lit up the arena with a pair of thunderous dunks in route to a 13-point, four rebounds, and three assist effort.

AJ McKee reached double figures for the second straight game, and 31
st time this season with an 11-point night.

Chris Ashby connected on 3-of-3 deep balls for nine points.
-Queens won the battle on the glass 37-32, including 11 offensive boards.
-The Royals struggled offensively from behind the arc matching their season-low with a 4-for-20 mark.
NOTABLE MOMENTS
-Kennesaw State opened the night on an 8-0 run converting on 3-of-4 shots from the field. Following a Queens timeout, the Royals responded with an 8-2 run themselves to get the offense going.
-Both teams would go on a four-minute drought midway through the first half as the offenses cooled off.
-The Owls opened the second half similar to the first with an 11-1 run.
-Queens would spark a quick 7-0 run to grab a 45-41 lead which was the largest of the second half at the time.
-Both teams would exchange back-and-forth buckets as neither team led by more than seven in the second half. The evening saw eight ties and six lead changes.
-After a missed Kennesaw State free throw with four seconds left, the Royals would attempt to get the ball up the court for one final look, but the horn sounded as
Jay'Den Turner released the final shot.
