MATCH PREVIEWS: Queens Rounds out Regular Season with Home Matches Against Owls & Colonels

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Queens rounds out their regular season slate this week, as the Royals face the Kennesaw State Owls and the Eastern Kentucky Colonels on Thursday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 11 inside the Levine Center.

On Saturday, the Royals will be celebrating their four seniors and the tremendous hard work and time they have contributed to the program— Kelise Twyner, Anna Law, Grace Giunta, and Victoria Wood.

LAST TIME OUT... KEY STATS & NOTES
- Despite hitting their highest percentage since October 20 against Austin Peay (.179), the Royals weren't able to hold off the undefeated conference leaders Florida Gulf Coast — falling in a 3-0 decision (16-25, 18-25, 19-25).
- The turning point of the match came when Queens (4-22, 1-13 ASUN) kept the Eagles (22-5, 14-0 ASUN) mightily within reach in the second set, using the talents of Alleigh Johnson and Ellis Sargent to pace the offense. After tying up the match at 12 each with a service ace from Kendall Buish, it would be Juliana Lentz on the block and Alexandra Zakutney to kick the Eagles into gear — driving to a 25-18 set win.
