Albury Drops Career-High 22 Points at Richmond on Saturday Night

The Short Story: Junior Deyton Albury poured in a career-high 22 points in the Royals 90-61 loss at Richmond on Saturday night.

BY THE NUMBERS
-Albury led the Royals with 22 points marking the second straight game the Nassau, Bahamas native has posted a 20+ point performance. The floor general also added eight rebounds and three assists.
-Junior AJ McKee reached double figures for the ninth consecutive game dating back to last season with a 10-point performance. McKee pulled down a season-high eight rebounds and swiped a pair of steals across 34 minutes of work.
-Sharpshooter Chris Ashby reached double figures for the second game this season dropping 12 points on four three-pointers.
-Veteran center Malcolm Wilson brought down seven rebounds, including offensive boards while adding a blocked shot.
-Junior forward Jaxon Pollard played a career-high 17 minutes as a Royal and brought down a career-high five rebounds.
-The Royals attempted a season-high 40 shots from behind the arc and connected on 10 of them.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
-Trailing 6-4 early in the first half, Richmond would use a 12-2 run to gain a 16-8 lead. During that span, the Spider went 5-for-6 from the field.
-Over the final five minutes of the first half, Richmond mounted a 16-2 run to grab their largest lead of the half at 48-26.
-Richmond carried their momentum into the second half opening on a 10-5 run.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-The 29-point loss was the largest margin since March 13, 2016.
-Queens fell to 0-3 in Division 1 against Atlantic 10 opponents.
-The Spiders won the battle on the boards 44-43. The Royals fell to 3-12 in Division 1 games in which they lose the battle on the boards.
