DELAND/FORT MYERS, FLA. — The Royals head down south for more ASUN action on the road this weekend, facing the Stetson Hatters at 6:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 3 and the FGCU Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 6:00 PM.
LAST TIME OUT...KEY STATS & NOTES
- The Royals weren't able to overcome the Jacksonville Dolphins in Saturday night ASUN action, falling in three sets (21-25, 16-25, 23-25).
- Kayla McDuffie tied a season-high with 12 kills to up her season total to 153, and veteran Kendall Buish recorded yet another double-double as she recorded 32 assists and 11 digs. This is Buish's 13th double-double of the season and sixth of conference play.
- On the weekend, Jesse George snagged her 1,000th career dig against North Florida on Oct. 27. George now sits in the top 10 in Royals program history in total digs.
- On the ASUN leaderboards, the Royals still lead the conference in digs per set (16.68), just barely ahead of Eastern Kentucky who average 16.26 per set.
SCOUTING STETSON
- Stetson welcomes Queens to DeLand after most recently taking a loss to Central Arkansas in a 3-1 decision. The match gave the Sugar Bears their first conference win of the season.
- The Hatters scatter across the ASUN leaderboard, including: Sophia Groom- 2nd in Blocks (1.20), 9th in Hitting Percentage (.312), Annabelle Standish- 3rd in Kills (3.44), 4th in Points (3.96), Nyah Molina- 7th in Assists (7.60), Haruka Sugimoto- 4th in Digs (4.28).

- Florida Gulf Coast have yet to find a conference loss in 2023, sporting a 20-5 record as of Nov. 2. The Eagles are fresh off a 3-0 sweep against North Alabama. On the night, Shelby Kent snagged her third double-double of the season with a match-high 11 kills
