This will be the first season in which the Royals will be competing in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association — which includes the teams of Quincy, Purdue Fort Wayne, McKendree, Ohio State, Ball State, Lewis, Loyola Chicago, and Lindenwood.

The season begins on January 8-9 when the Royals face Princeton inside the Levine Center for their home-opening week. The Royals will then head out to Charleston, W.V. for a single match against the Golden Eagles on January 13.

Then, Queens will head back to Charlotte for a three-day stretch against Lees-McRae, Mount Olive, and Erskine from Jan. 18-20 before facing the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey on January 24 at Belmont. The Royals will finish off the month of January against New Jersey Institute of Technology and Saint Francis in Loretto, Pa. on January 27-28.

MIVA play starts in February, where the Royals will start conference play on the road at Quincy before returning home to face Purdue Fort Wayne on Feb. 9 and 10.

Their next biggest home weekend will be on Feb. 23 as they'll take on THE Ohio State University on Feb. 23-24. The Buckeyes will arguably be the Royals' most difficult competitor in 2024 as the team from Columbus put up a 23-10 record in 2023 and made it to the NCAA Quarterfinals before Penn State knocked them out in a 3-1 loss on May 2.

The Royals continue conference play on March 1-3 against Ball State before jumping out of the MIVA to play Barton, Fort Valley State, and Tusculum from March 13-16. To date, the Royals are currently undefeated against Tusculum with a 7-0 winning streak.

From March 21 to April 9, Queens will take on three more MIVA opponents in Lewis, Loyola Chicago, and Lindenwood before capping off the year against Belmont Abbey at Levine on April 9. The match will mark the ninth meeting between the two teams.

Jeremy Price will return for his seventh season at the helm of the program, while assistant Kyle Gramit will start his sixth season aiding in the Royals' coaching staff.
