CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Royals head to Kennesaw State to face the Owls in ASUN action on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 PM before welcoming the Sugar Bears of Central Arkansas on Friday, Oct. 13 in the Levine Center for a 6:00 PM first-serve.*

LAST TIME OUT...
- In their last week of ASUN action, The Royals fell to Jacksonville and North Florida by scores of 3-0 (16-25, 21-25, 23-25) and 3-0 (12-25, 15-25, 11-25).
- Queens dropped a season-high .238 hitting percentage in their match against Jacksonville.
- Rookie Callie DeSchryver nabbed a career-high nine kills in the match as the Dallas, Texas native went nine-for-15, suffered only one error, and hit a .533. Kayla McDuffie also added nine kills while adding two blocks.
- Against North Florida, Alleigh Johnson and Jordyn Johnson led the way for the Royals with six kills apiece, while McDuffie contributed five of her own. McDuffie led with a .214 hitting percentage on the night. Kendall Buish put up 21 assists to lead the match while Jesse George added six digs.
- The Royals still sit in first place in the ASUN in digs, averaging 17.10 per set.
- As of Oct. 9, Jordyn Johnson leads the team in total kills with 160, while Jesse George leads with 274 total digs. Kendall Buish, who surpassed the 1000-career-assist marker on Oct. 1, leads Queens with 491 assists on the season alone.
- On the ASUN leaderboards, Buish sits in seventh place in the conference in avg. assists per set with 7.92, while Jesse George sits in third in the digs category with 4.42 per set. Jordyn Johnson sits in tenth in service aces with .37 per set.
SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
- The Owls are on a three-match losing streak after falling to FGCU, North Florida, and Jacksonville in the month of October. Notably, the Owls battled ASUN-leader FGCU to five sets.
- In their last match against Jacksonville, Kennesaw State went to the fifth set for the fourth time this season. The Owls struggled late, committing 17 errors over the final two sets.
- Leading the Owls was Manu Johnsen who snagged 19 kills in the defeat. Johnsen currently leads the team in overall kills with 213 as of Oct. 9.
SCOUTING CENTRAL ARKANSAS
- Central Arkansas and Queens are the only two squads left who are yet to win an ASUN match. The Sugar Bears are currently on a five-match losing streak.
- In their last time out, the Sugar Bears fell to FGCU in three sets. Mackenzie Vernon led the squad with 11 kills. Caylan Koons had 32 assists, marking a season-high.
- In the league, Koons sits in second place in the ASUN in assists per set with 9.78.
