Bourlot Jaeggi Goal Sends Royals Past College of Charleston on Tuesday Night

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team upended the College of Charleston by a final score of 2-1 on Tuesday night. The Royals used a gritty road performance to pick up their second victory of the season, and first away from the Queen City.

Turning Point
Despite a lack of offensive production on the night, the switch flipped in the 61st minute as Michel Feldman found Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi for the eventual game-winner. The Royals defense was tested all night and fought off countless Cougar opportunities, and the Royals cashed in with their third shot.

  • Senior striker Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi notched his first goal of the season across 86 minutes of work. The Santa Fe, Argentina native has turned in a shot in eight straight matches, including three multi-shot performances.
  • Sophomore Michel Feldman dished out his second assist of the season on the Bourlot Jaeggi goal. The forward leads the team in assists.
  • Making his fourth career start in goal, freshman Evan Morris was flawless turning in his second clean sheet. The Fort Mill native faced 20 shots on the night and picked up four saves.
