CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens hit the road and headed north for a pair of matchups against some notable MIVA opponents, kicking off the weekend with a match against #8 Ball State.
Matthew Pilch led the team offensively with eight kills and managed an impressive .333 hitting percentage however Ball State would ultimately take the match, 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-15).

"I give Ball State a lot of credit for how well they blocked us tonight" said head coach
Jeremy Price. "They took away almost everything that we wanted to do, and they served very effectively which helped set up their block. We plan on regrouping and coming out with a lot more fire tomorrow against Purdue Fort Wayne."

Queens will stay in Indiana overnight and face off with Purdue Fort Wayne tomorrow at 3PM.
