THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team stole a pair of singles matches before falling 5-2 at nationally ranked Wake Forest on Sunday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Demon Deacons managed to grab an early advantage by winning the doubles point on No. 3 and No. 1.
-Sophomore
Laurenz Blickwede picked up his first victory of the season at No. 4 defeating Vikas Deo by a final score of 6-4 and 6-3.
-Newcomer
Milan Gonela notched his first win of the year at No. 5 as the junior took down Togan Makzume, 8-5.
-The doubles pairing of Juan Lopez de Azcona and Filippo Moroni is ranked 30
th in the country according to the ITA.

NEXT UP
The Royals will get their first ASUN test of the season on Wednesday, January 25
th as Queens will face Liberty University. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m. from Lynchburg, Virginia.
